What do capybaras eat?

The capybara is indeed the capybara, the largest rodent relative in the world, but it's much cuter!
It's a vegetarian, mainly eating various plants. Its favorite foods are:
- Grass near water, such as tender grass by rivers and ponds.
- Reeds and aquatic plants; sometimes they even enjoy eating them while soaking in the water.
- They also gnaw on bark, fruits, or vegetables, especially in zoos, where keepers feed them things like watermelon and lettuce.
They eat all day long, a bit like hamsters, grinding their teeth and having fast digestion. They often come out to forage in the evening, preferring to rest in the water during the day.
In short, it doesn't eat meat; it just loves light meals like "greens and radishes."
