What is the vision of 100QA?

The Genesis of 100QA

Actually, many years ago (about 7 years ago), we tried to use machines to create Q&A. Because we couldn't scale the generation of Q&A with machines (there was no AI technology at the time), we created about 40,000 questions and answers about wine, which garnered around 150 UVs per day on Google.

With the advent of large language models, their quality has improved, and costs have decreased. We've always had an idea: can we use new technology today to recreate a version of our past vision? To generate 100 million questions and answers with machines?

Opportunities and Challenges

Today's large language models, whether it's ChatGPT's GPT-3, Claude-4, or Google's Gemini 2.5 Pro, are already incredibly powerful at Q&A. You can ask almost any question and get a satisfactory (at least decent) answer, sometimes even surprisingly good ones.

However, we've observed two very real problems:

  • Good questions are scarce (it's hard to ask a good question, and without good questions, there won't be good answers).
  • Most questions still don't have good search results on Google.

Therefore, we believe that the emergence of 100QA can solve practical problems. We also firmly believe that reshaping humanity's knowledge base through large models and Q&A is a very cool and valuable idea!

This idea was reinforced when we were testing questions in the early stages. When we asked a large model to generate 100 questions about the World Cup, it posed this question:

"In a World Cup match, Maradona simultaneously performed the 'Hand of God' and the 'Goal of the Century'. If you had to erase one of these two events, which would you choose and why?"

Isn't that an amazing question? I asked myself, and I realized I couldn't come up with such a question, even though I've watched many World Cup matches since '98, every four years. This solidified our decision to complete 100QA.

The Origin of the Name: From Quality to Quantity

The name 100QA is also quite interesting:

  • It represents 100-point quality Q&A.
  • It also represents a huge number, 100 quadrillion, which is 10 to the power of 17, an enormous figure.

AI + Blockchain + Reconstructing Human Knowledge Database

In the process of creating 100QA, we found that the biggest obstacle was cost. The Gemini 2.5 Pro model we currently use costs approximately $0.03-$0.04 per answer. Translating a question into multiple languages costs about $0.003-$0.004. If we want to create 100 million questions, we would need millions of dollars to achieve this.

At the same time, asking good questions is also very difficult.

Faced with this dilemma, we decided to try using the power of Blockchain to create it. We will issue our Token on ETH to reward all contributing users.

This way, we might be able to gather the strength of all users to collectively create 100 million questions. This is indeed very cool! And we have actually done it! You can now participate in the construction at any time and redeem Tokens, receiving them in your ETH wallet!
